Public transportation in CDMX is an inexpensive way to get around

Check the light rail, metro, and metrobus maps. Remember that there are transfers in some subway and metrobus stations, ask a guard about the direction you should take. In case you take buses, ask the driver about the place you want to get to.

Since the 1985 earthquake in Mexico City, the city's pipes have not been able to provide 100 percent potable water, so it is not recommended to drink water directly from the tap.
