Butcher & Sons Roma

Famous for their burgers and salads, the menu offers a wide variety of breakfast options, from comforting classics to unique and modern creations. Here, the quality and presentation of the dishes are pleasantly surprising. Each one is a culinary work of art, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients.

Artemisa Flower Bar

Can you imagine having breakfast and then going shopping? Well, that's how Artemisa Flower Bistro works, a space that gives you peace among so much flora and also fulfills your morning craving. There are omelettes, eggs (championship eggs, with chicharrón and starry egg), homemade bread and fresh fruit. On the corner of Matías Romero and Adolfo Prieto, in Del Valle, I found a blue and white cafeteria that I immediately knew I had to visit. On all the tables there was a pattern: the presence of roses and orchids that scented the place.
From the food menu, led by chef Rosa María Orozco, my attention was drawn to the ser o no ser sandwich, with brioche bread, gouda cheese, bacon and turkey ham, and the veal panini with French fries. However, since the day was sunny and slightly chilly, I decided on a generous salad of figs stuffed with goat cheese. They were wrapped in prosciutto and topped with a mix of lettuce dressed with balsamic vinegar. The sweet and salty caught my taste like a sweet and sour stampede of each ingredient. I accompanied it with their green apple gin artemisia, tonic water and matcha.

Buenas Migas

The menu is simple. On weekdays they have a set menu. They serve Mexican food with a Mediterranean twist, ranging from traditional chicken consommé to lentils with chorizo or creamed corn. They also have dried fruit salads, chilies with different fillings, saffron chicken with plantain and a great vegetarian offering with mushroom stuffed eggplant and Aztec cake.
On Saturdays they have pancita and a special breakfast menu: green, red and pasilla chilaquiles; they can be with egg, chicken, arrachera or alone. I ordered the classic green chilaquiles with chicken and an egg. The breakfasts come as a package (orange juice or fruit, coffee from the pot and the dish of your choice). I recommend you arrive early or be prepared to wait, as the place is small and the demand is great. As a tip, they also offer food service for events and dinners for Christmas and New Year's Eve.

Pulp Love Liquid

Eating fruits and vegetables has never been so much fun and aesthetically appealing, especially when you know that your dishes were prepared at the moment and you can even notice it in the aroma. Pulpa Amor Líquido is a little darling in Juárez that with its smoothie bar, juices and bowls brings us closer to the versatility of 100% natural ingredients.
The pastel color palette embraces both the space and the food, an interior design by Pulpa's own creator, Francisco Arana. A great idea is to visit for a bunchear or lunch, so you can catch a time when there are few people (because it gets crowded) and take the time you need to browse the menu. The craving ones will be in a hurry with so many options.
Thick consistency, filled to the brim and decorated with toppings, the smoothies are a liquid canvas that stand out in flavors: gimme the power is the right one for lovers of pb n' jelly sandwich, which also has banana and almond milk; the tropical tone is present with a son of guava, despite having orange and strawberry, this fruit native to America predominates in every sip.
The water bread with which they make the sandwiches is a small craft with a soft interior. Green on the inside and golden on the outside, the chicharito with pea puree, guacamole, spinach and potato shines. One of the signature toasts is the trajinera, two slices of whole wheat and rye bread topped with a bed of avocado accompanied by dill, red onion sauce and sesame seeds.
Morning cravings are soothed with vegetable milk-based waffles, which with their cheesy body and bright colors catch the eye at first glance. Autumn, chocolaty and good to enjoy as a healthy dessert, while roxanne arrives in a rougher mood and dresses in black thanks to activated charcoal and red fruits to ignite the dish.
Visiting Pulpa Amor Líquido is one of those promises that makes the metabolism grateful for having consumed something healthy (finally!) and gives satisfaction for contributing to ecologically conscious eating.

Address: Londres 46, Juarez, Mexico City, 06600.
