Abraham Lincoln Aviary

Within Lincoln Park you'll find the Abraham Lincoln Aviary, named after the former U.S. president. This facility was designed for the conservation of exotic bird species and as a way to prevent and combat animal mistreatment, as well as illegal trafficking and trade.

In this aviary you can hear the songs of parrots, canaries, peacocks, and a wide variety of species that call this sanctuary home. So if you want to experience some contact with nature and the fauna of Polanco, visit the aviary.

Plaza Carso Terrace

Next to the Soumaya Museum you'll find Plaza Carso, one of the most famous and popular shopping centers in Polanco in recent years. However, this time we don't want to tell you about the mall itself, but rather its roof garden, which offers a wonderful view of Polanco.

Access is incredibly easy—simply enter Plaza Carso, take the elevator, and head up to the C3 floor. The view from there is spectacular; you can see the Soumaya Museum, the Jumex Museum, and much of Polanco. So if you love views and heights, this is the perfect spot to snap a photo and share one of the city's best vistas.

French Alliance Polanco Center

This museum isn't as well-known in Polanco, but that doesn't diminish the quality of its exhibitions or cultural access. Created in collaboration with the French embassy, the French Alliance Polanco Center has as its main objective the promotion of European culture.

If you love French culture or want to learn more about this Old World country, this is the ideal place for you. Plus, it's a way to connect with the country through its language, painting, and cultural contributions.

Within this venue you can find photographic exhibitions and paintings by emerging artists looking for a space to showcase their work. A unique feature of this cultural center is the screening of French films, and it's one of the few places that still preserves film clubs in Mexico City.

Alfredo Ginocchio Gallery

This gallery opened its doors in 1988 and was known as Praxis Mexico Gallery, but in 2008 changed its name to Alfredo Ginocchio Gallery, whose owner created this space for Mexican and Latin American talent. With locations in Los Cabos and Mexico City, this venue has been instrumental in showcasing work by various emerging artists.

This cultural center focuses on modernism and conceptual art, promoting it through events like Gallery Weekend Mexico and the Polanco Circuit. The promotion of art is so important that it's one of the few galleries that has created collective exhibitions not only in the United States and Europe, and it was the only gallery to reach the International Art Fair in Korea.

David Alfaro Siqueiros Public Art Hall

This art hall bears the name of one of Mexico's most renowned muralists: David Alfaro Siqueiros. This venue served as Siqueiros' studio-home and you can appreciate works he created during his final years. Additionally, it contains a collection that depicts part of his life.

Shortly before his death, one of Siqueiros' final wishes was to open these spaces to the public for artistic experimentation and the promotion of his works and ideas. Currently, it continues to serve that purpose, functioning as both a museum and research center.
