Casa Londres by Kukun. / KukunAt Kukun, we believe every space should tell a story. That’s why the design of our apartments goes far beyond aesthetics—it’s a living tribute to art, tradition, and Mexico’s cultural identity. Our design-focused apartments are not only about comfort but also about inspiring wonder and connection in every stay.
Escape Santa Fe
Here, we pay homage to Mexican folk art through hand-blown glass, a traditional craft we’ve incorporated into the walls of the building. This artisanal material brings light, texture, and character to the space, connecting the interior design to the roots of Mexican craftsmanship.
Casa Sócrates
Located in Polanco, this residence takes inspiration from its surroundings—streets named after great thinkers. With quotes from philosophers and literary figures like Calderón de la Barca and Dickens, the walls come to life through the work of artist Renata Alarcón, who transforms brass sheets into unique, handcrafted pieces with a soul of their own.
Kukun Inspire Polanco
Here, the design speaks for itself. We mix Puebla’s iconic Talavera pottery with quotes from contemporary Mexican artists. Frida Kahlo, Iñárritu, and others appear on the walls as silent guides, infusing the space with meaning. The result is a visual narrative that celebrates individuality and the country’s cultural strength.
Casa Londres 208
This building showcases traditional pottery from the community of Yojuela in the Sierra Sur of Oaxaca. In collaboration with Tendajón de Barro, we work with local women artisans who create unique pieces like Petra, Abi, and Gemima—planters with hand-sculpted “faces” that reflect the stories of their creators.
Casa Tonalá
In partnership with the communities of Zipiajo and Ocumicho, Michoacán, we bring handcrafted clay figures, vases, and traditional masks into the city. These pieces are more than decor—they are living symbols of folklore, color, and the creative spirit of these regions.
Each Kukun design apartment invites guests to discover the soul of contemporary Mexico, where folk art and local creativity blend seamlessly with modern living. Our spaces go beyond accommodation—we want every guest to take home a piece of culture through their everyday experience.
