On Durango Street there's a concept that's everything you didn't know you needed: a specialty café with craft beers, cocktails, wines, and delicious food. It's Q'Pedro Pablo. This specialty café in Roma is a small space with two tables outside and about four inside. The place is perfect for working with a matcha latte, a golden milk, or some of the experimental beans they offer—we'll tell you more about them soon—or for spending the afternoon with your friends enjoying a craft beer. The vintage industrial décor gives Q'Pedro Pablo its touch and personality: a comfortable place where you can be yourself (the café's name surely already gave you a hint about the vibe).

Constela

Under the watchful eye of what could be a hippogriff from a medieval bestiary, earthy tones and different shades of green define the façade of Constela café, the new cafetería in Roma—the one with Cuarón's memories. Its large windows separate it from the asphalt where Jalapa Street meets Colima, and its bright lights contrast with the neighboring Art Deco façade that highlights the neighborhood's architectural tradition. In late August 2021, Constela began making its way through the area's strong culinary offerings with the promise of "making your specialty coffee a reality." Its menu is divided between coffees, brew bar, bakery, salads, bowls, sandwiches, and toasts.

Tres Abejas

Walking in, I forgot I was in the old carriage house of a Porfirian mansion. The flowery and very yellow design defines the décor of Tres Abejas, the café of the Soumaya Museum Casa Guillermo Tovar de Teresa. On the wall hand-painted by none other than Tovar's niece, Leonora Tovar (founder of the place), there are phrases like the ones my mom always says, "Few hairs well combed," and even from the historian himself, "To celebrate art is to recognize its transformative power." The love for pastries at Tres Abejas is distinctive, but there are also savory options, like the croque monsieur made with two fluffy waffles, a winning combination with the gratinéed cheese.

Brew Brew

Brew Brew is a new café/bar that opened in Roma. They sell some of the most delicious coffees and chocolates in the area, along with sweet breads and dishes to pair with them.

Two nights a week, the café transforms into a bar where you can enjoy the best cocktails and atmosphere.
